I purchased a 2013 Hyundai Veloster vehicle from Hyundai in Brampton *** in September 2012. I purchased a Rust Proof Warranty from Hyundai for my vehicle. The rust proofing I purchased through Hyundai was done through a company named *** (Contract # S-XXXXXXX). I was told the rust proofing had a life time guarantee against any rust on my vehicle.
In October 2018 I informed the dealership that I have rust on my car and asked them to repair it.I spoke to *** numerous times and also the Service Department Manager.
They told me that they can't repair it because I was supposed to take the vehicle in for a yearly inspection. They failed to tell me about this yearly inspection when I purchased the warranty.
They have refused to fix my vehicle.
Now I have to pay out of pocket to get my car fixed. I've never heard of a rust proof warranty that requires yearly inspections...I would never have purchased the service had I known.
