Review: I stayed at your hotel from 6/28-7/3/2015 under 2 separate reservation #s, the 1st for 2 nights, and the 2nd for the remaining 3 nights, the following are my complaints:1. Within the span of the 1st reservation between 6/29-6/30/2015, the hotel charged my debit card a total of $2,375.53, which is more than FOUR TIMES the room rate I was being charged for the conference I was attending ($239.00 + $23.90 tax + $24.00 parking). Completely unacceptable! These charges effectively overdrew my bank account, and I only became aware when my card was DECLINED at a professional event for the conference, completely humiliating! Upon return to the hotel, I was informed that my room was being charged for toll-free phone calls that were NOT to have occurred, as Id checked upon check-in, and the next morning before my conference calls, and was assured BOTH times that it would not happen. At any rate, she was only able to get 1 of the charges reversed with my bank per 24-hour period. The next day, I spoke with the Manager on duty, and got the same result, reversal of only 1 charge, and seeming irritation for having to correct what was clearly the Hotels issue, NOT MINE. 2. The same day I met the Manager, I requested they clean our room that afternoon; I also had a special request regarding making the bed backwards so I could sleep on my preferred side d/t the corner placement of the television. She assured me it would be taken care of. Upon return to the room, the bed had only been made in the normal fashion, but they DID NOT change the sheets, nor did they honor my very specific request. In addition, the room was not vacuumed, nor were any of the table wiped down. It was completely UNACCEPTABLE service.I called immediately, and they sent up the night supervisor to look at the room, and he assured me hed follow up. I also called the front desk, and the person working stated shed be comping meals or giving us a discount, NEITHER of which occurred. Again, UNACCEPTABLE.Desired Settlement: I am in the Customer Experience industry, and these issues are completely unacceptable. You have a duty to the customer to make this right...not only for myself, but for future customers to your hotel. At a minimum, I'd like consideration of a significant refund of the charges for my stays. I'd like to see at a minimum 50% refund of our total charges for the entire stay. Given the experience I had, I would not recommend anyone I know, nor my colleagues, to ever stay in your hotel. Thank you in advance for serious consideration of my concerns.
