made any offers. We turned in over to the insurance company and they have been talking with Mr. [redacted]. I understand that the insurance appraiser offered Mr [redacted] $6,000.00 and the opportunity to buy the motor home back for $1,000.00 and he refused. The people at camper world and the insurance company say the vehicle is totaled and not worth fixing. The repair costs were estimated at $13,428.21 because the vehicle is so old you can't find parts easlily and when you do they cost more. The motor home people say the vehicle isn't worth half the repair cost. Since Mr [redacted] turned down the first offer the appraiser, [redacted] has offered $8,000.00 with a $500.00 buy back and Mr [redacted] said he would get back to him but after over a week has gone ny he has not.
Piedmont wants to solve the problem but it appears Mr [redacted] is asking for a little more than is reasonable.
