My wife and I recently completed a 16-day junket to Ireland and ScotlandWe were not interested in any sort of package tour and we had already pretty much laid out our own itinerary, so we asked the guys at PRT to help guide us through some of the hotel reservations [redacted] was pretty much successful in guiding us to places he figured we'd probably like and in general he was rightAs it turns out, the PRT guys use secondary sources for hotel reservations and this created some confusion occasionally upon our arrival (e.ga cancelled reservation in Dublin), but overall it worked splendidlyThere was also some misinformation about BritRail/ScotRail passes, but in the end all was good Furthermore, when glitches occurred during the trip I would email [redacted] and he would respond immediately with corrective or explanatory measuresThat was very reassuringAfter we returned he contacted us for a thorough debriefing Criticism? I wish they had been more attuned to cultural (inclsports) activities in the areas we were going to in order to make suggestions about off-the-beaten track activities (e.ga night at the National Symphony Orchestra that we discovered on our own) Perhaps the best recommendation we can offer is that when we return to these areas to fill in the blanks, we'll use PRT again
Picture Rocks Travel did a great job putting together our day Maui package with airfare, accommodations, and rental car...and kept us on our budget It was a pleasure working with them, and I look forward to the next time we utilize their services
