what was said was only partially factual and we should receive our refund because I had orders to move to Pennsylvania.Yes, my husband and I had a difficult decision to make because we needed to cancel the wedding due to PCS orders after I was separated from the militaryOnce again, according to the service members civil relief act, if we have orders we have reason to break contractThis is to protect service members when we PCS/separate while in a contract. Yes, she did say she would accommodate if we were to reschedule however we have moved to Pennsylvania, so we needed to cancel the wedding in Ohio Therefore she couldn't accommodate us after all.Making difficult life choices has nothing to do with getting our deposit backWe would like our deposit back because we put down FIFTY percent! That is $865, and we have not received ANY services that would be ethical for the company to hold that against usI understand that the contract stipulated it was non-refundable, however with active duty service members there are exemptionsI find ours to be a perfectly good one. Shewas advised that per the signed contract, no refunds are made for deposits. As a customeraccommodation, we offered to apply her deposit to a different wedding date within a year of her noticeof cancellation. The Accommodation Letter had been emailed to Ms. [redacted] on May 4, 2015, forconsideration and was rejected by the client.
