On September 08, 2020 I had my eyebrows done at Picayune Microblading in Mississippi. When I called to make the appointment I asked the man on phone (who later found out was husband) 2 things. 1.) would I get a consultation because I knew nothing about this and 2.) Did they have a pillow they could put under my knees because I suspected I would be laying there awhile. Yes to both. My husband dropped me off and when I entered it was just me and the tech the whole time I had my procedure but I did not realize this until later. I stepped into building and right over counter you could see table that I would lay on, more rooms in back. She showed me a bunch of eyebrow pictures on her phone. Proceeded to table where she began her technique, I was asking her things and she said sorry I do not speak english. I have no complaint of her attitude, she was kind, her cleanliness, very clean, but she spoke no english. I even asked her one time if my brows were bleeding and she just laughed. I was given no after care instructions, no paper of any kind, all she gave me was some gauze and some antibiotic cream in a baggie. I have messaged her husband to ask nicely for my $480.00 back and he has refused.
Microblading is a technique similar to tattooing. After care is most important. We not only give a copy of after care to every client we have them sign paperwork confirming they have received the the aftercare. In addition to this we have the after care on our website in video audio and text. This client admitted to not following the after care and as a director result she had a problem. This is extremely unfortunate but there is nothing *** did to cause this and could not have prevented this. In addition to the clients failure to follow the after care instructions there is always a risk when getting a tattoo and clients sign a waiver before the procedure begins. We started a investigation as any company would. When we ask the client to come in to look at how the Microblading looked today she became upset and said she did not want any money from us to stop communicating with her and she would file a Revdex.com complaint. In our conversation her biggest complaint was the fact *** is an immigrant to our country and she even stated if someone’s English does not meet her standards they should not be doing business in America. This is very sad and unfortunate anyone would feel this way. I only speak English I am ***s husband. So common sense being applied My wife speaks to me in only English. I understand not everyone is good with accents. We had never made a decision to refund or not to refund the client ended talks the moment we wanted to speak in person and look at how the Microblading looked today and requested we do not contact her. Looking at the fact the client is requesting a refund for two reasons. 1. The client failed to do her due diligence and follow after care instructions. 2. ***s accent not being to the standard she would like. She admitted in her complaint they had a consultation and went over photos together. In many ways this situation is unfortunate situation. If the client would like to meet in person as requested so we can look at her Microblading to see how it looks today we would be more than happy to continue our investigation. *** is the owner and the artist.
First of all although he claims that his wife can and does speak fluent English not once have I talked to her about this. I have many text messages that him and I have sent back and fourth and as you can plainly see he again is addressing the complaint. Not once did I say anything about his wife being an immigrant if that was the case I would have left that day. He tried to throw racism in there and I sent him a pic of my daughter-in-law and granddaughters who are from China. Then he accused me of not doing my after care again all I was given was that bag of antibiotic and a few Gause. No consultation at all I don’t care what I signed it didn’t happen. You would think that when someone puts a scalpel on your face they would call to check on you but nothing. As far as me going back my complaint is I had an allergic reaction to something that she used. Could have her. The nickel in the blade or some solution or the lidocaine I don’t know because I don’t what she did or her steps I was not given the opportunity to ask questions. Went to dr have paper and got meds sent allot that to him If he doesn’t give me back my money and that’s all I want I’m getting an attorney. Thank you
This is the same complaint/ duplicate complaint. Again we are waiting on the client. 1. The client failed to follow proper aftercare. 2. Client need talks stating does not want any money and for us to not contact them. 3. We are happy to continue the investigation the client stopped. We have tried to set up a time to meet with the client so we can see how the Microblading looks today. It looks at this point the clients goal is to use the Revdex.com to try and get free Microblading. It is extremely unfortunate the client failed to follow the after care instructions. The client signed showing the received the after care instructions. We also have after care instructions on our website in video, audio, and text. In addition to this there is a certain level of risk with tattoo/Microblading. This risk was disclosed to the client and they signed understanding the risk. As the client has ended communication and even will not reply to the Revdex.com complaint I am unsure what we are able to do. The client has tied our hands and we are waiting on the client.
