Review: I hired [redacted] dba Picasso Painting and remodeling on Nov 7th, 2014 to install lighting I my home. We agreed upon a total price of $500 and [redacted] told me he would have a team at my house on Tuesday, Nov 11th. He asked for a check, made payable to him for $250 as a deposit. He was referred to my by a neighbor and friend, and he had done great work for her.I called him on Monday, Nov 10th to verify the time. I never got a call back. On Tuesday I sent a text message to see what time he would be coming over to do the work and he responded via text that he was sorry, but he was too busy moving and that he would get a team out over the following weekend. I wasn't available, and he sent a text saying "if you want a refund and don't want the job done I understand". [redacted] cashed the check I gave him to the SAME day wrote it, and after I requested a refund, I have waited over 3 weeks and still haven't received anything in the mail. When I told [redacted] that I was going to file a complaint with the Revdex.com he said he would get the check out that day. He sent a text that said "take your complaint and [redacted] yourself".Desired Settlement: $250 money order or cashiers check by 30 December 2014
