The boyfriend did not pass the background check and the application was denied as a result. A notification of the denial and reason for denial was sent to the complainant. He also stated that the application fee is non-refundable as it is the cost of them running the credit and background checks and since all that information was processed, they cannot refund the fee.

Company approved for rental property and once I paid to add my fiance, I was no longer approved for the property.

Review: I paid $50 for rental application that I was approved for and I also paid an additional $30 to add my fiance to the application that I was already approved for. I went look at the property and there was a tenant still residing there, that was no problem, my problem was that there is no physical property management company and that my lease, as well as my security deposit would be done my mail only. It was like when I stated asking questions about the property as well as going to a rental office my application was denied after I paid the additional $30 to add another adult.I received a letter of why my fiance was denied with an p.o. box as the address for rental company.Desired Settlement: Please find out if business is legal and that a physical address be given to prospected renters.Sincerely,Latunia Prout
