Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:
The original price quoted for the turbo model was with money down, not $2000.00. We agreed to the original price and the sales rep came back and said his manager made a mistake and we needed to put the $down. After speaking with the sales manager he blamed the incident on the sales rep.
Bottom line is we were told one price. When we agreed to that price, it was then changed. Also the dealership ran our credit report more then they told us they were running it. This isn't acceptable. I spent hours at the dealership just to pick a car out, and have the price change once we agreed on it. Then I took a day off of work to try and settle the issue, just to have the sales manager say "Sometimes we cant make it work". No apology, or any compromise offered. I lost more then $just by taking off work, and the damage done to my credit

To whom it may concern,
The client mentioned in ID [redacted] came into our dealership inquiring about a new Hyundai [redacted] and a new [redacted]. We worked numbers on a base [redacted] and a [redacted]. The [redacted] was ruled out by the client and then requested a price on a Turbo Model [redacted]. When...
Quoting the Turbo model, the price was quoted with 10% cash down payment ($2158.20) to take the amount financed to 19400.27, see attached work sheet. Customer stated that they needed to be at 20,000 or less with no cash down, in that their credit union would only finance $20,000 at an interest rate of 7%. Our sales representative offered to see we could submit their credit application to possibly obtain better finance terms then they were receiveing from their credit union. We ran their credit once and submitted it to the 4 lenders that we felt could possibly offer our client better terms with the goal to reduce the overall repayment cost to the client.Sincerely,
