Review: Hired company in April to install hardwood floors. We were told that they wouldn't sub the work out to other contractors but that is what happened. Now it is November and job not complete. Workmanship is very poor, lots of gaps in wood. Trim with holes, some areas trim not completed or not replaced. Different width trim used. Doors to be replaced, hardware still not on all doors. Went over a week with no doors on bedrooms and bathroom. Stairs with gaps in wood. Railing was removed and to be put back up, it is uneven and not attached correctly, not secure. Steps are installed incorrectly. Bottom step was cut and butchered from rounded to square without our knowledge. Numerous apologies and excuses as to why there was poor workmanship and that all issue would be resolved to our satisfaction. Text received that job would be 100% complete on October 16, 2014. Since then attempts to text and email in order to get information on correcting the issues have gone unanswered.We have had other contractors come in order for us to get estimates to fix all the issues and the comments was made that this must have been the first time they put floor down.Desired Settlement: It has been over 6 months and the quality of what is done is poor.Now we need to find someone to fix all the issues and complete the workHave attempted to download text, emails, and pictures unsuccessfully.
