To Whom It May Concern:This is in response to the dispute Philadelphia Singles received regarding our member, [redacted], in the amount of $2,000.00.Philadelphia Singles has a firm “no refund policy” (See paragraph 4a. of the contract, which states: “EXCEPT WHAT IS OTHERWISE PROVIDED...
HEREIN, THERE IS NO RIGHT TO RESCIND THIS AGREEMENT. Philadelphia Singles does not grant refunds or accept cancellations of any kind, unless otherwise stated in this agreement.”).Once a person enrolls in our membership and pays for our service the sale is final. No right exists for that person to obtain a refund any time thereafter simply because that person changed their mind.Please note: Philadelphia Singles does not allow for cancellations, as stated above and in the Membership Agreement. The express contract language, which [redacted] signed and initialed, indicating she read, understood, and accepted the terms, states, “Philadelphia Singles does not grant refunds or accept cancellations of any kind....”; therefore, she is well aware of the terms of the contract.[redacted] not only signed her name on the Contract but she also signed her initials in eight [8] spaces throughout the Contract (See attached Contract). [redacted] initialed next to 4a of the contract which clearly states the “No Refund” policy. There are no cancellations and no refunds. There are no cancellations by phone, U.S. mail or by email — All Sales are Final.On March 10, 2014, [redacted] became a member of Philadelphia Singles, purchasing eight [8] introductions, Selective Screening and six [6] months of “hold” time, which allows [redacted] to temporarily suspend her service for 6 consecutive or non-consecutive months. Paragraph 3b of her contract allows Philadelphia Singles up to 4 weeks before we can begin the matching process. Thereafter, [redacted] is to receive approximately one to two introductions per eight-week period (see contract, paragraph 3b. which [redacted] initialed).[redacted] arrived at the Philadelphia Singles location in [redacted] on her own accord. [redacted] entered into a meeting and continued this meeting with her enrollment counselor. [redacted] took the time to fill out multiple pages of paperwork, discuss what she is looking for in a potential match, have her picture taken for her file and go over her membership options. [redacted] looked forward to the start of her program. It is very apparent that [redacted] was more than willing to enter into an agreement with Philadelphia Singles and was well aware of the terms of the contract.At Philadelphia Singles we understand that when people become members of such a personal Service they may second-guess their decision. [redacted] has not given her program a fair try. [redacted] never opened herself up to the opportunity to successfully find her ultimate match; instead she hastefully initiated this dispute. Philadelphia Singles believes [redacted] could have a very successful program if she would move forward with her membership.Philadelphia Singles has provided service as described to [redacted]. But [redacted] is refusing service.The Philadelphia Singles staff looks forward to continuing to work with [redacted] in the process of finding that right match. Philadelphia Singles is ready, willing and able to provide further service to [redacted]. This organization is a complete waste of time, money and energy. They have no interest in connecting you with someone compatible with you. They insist that there clients are all professionals and white collar workers. I was told by one match that they had solicited him and said they needed more male members and would match him several times for free if he agreed to join. He was a long distance truck driver.

Philadelphia Singles stands by its initial response and hopes this matter can be resolved amicably.
