Review: I subscribed to a one year Phanfare PRO account last May for $199, specifically advertised as unlimited storage. Two days ago I was informed (thru a notice that was cut off and almost impossible to read) that I had exceeded some bandwidth and (effective IMMEDIATELY) would no longer be able to upload anything until my contract reset date (which is SEVEN MONTHS FROM NOW) . First of all, how can you advertise as "unlimited" when you put limits on the service? Secondly, customer service at Phanfare is incredibly unhelpful & unresponsive and has not even responded to my complaint above although it was submitted 2 days ago and is obviously urgent. The last time I interacted with their customer service department I got misinformation several times before I figured out the problem MYSELF. I run a photography business. My clients count on me. WITHOUT ANY WARNING my "unlimited" service was limited and has frozen me out of posting any more client images. So for my $199, I got HALF of the duration I paid for AND now have to scramble to find an adequate substitute site to post client images that need to be delivered immediately. If I ran my business like Phanfare runs theirs, I would never be hired. The word should get out loud and clear that this company falsely advertises and is absolutely disinterested in satisfying customer complaints. Additionally, no "PRO" photographer should pay for this "PRO" account because it would never meet the storage needs of anyone that is actually a pro.Desired Settlement: I would like to discontinue service with this company and be refunded half of my contract price ($100) for only receiving half of the service AND for being incredibly inconvenienced with having to urgently find a different solution to meet my needs (client image delivery). Additionally, I would like plenty of time to move all my stored files from Phanfare to a reputable company (that they have forced me to use now anyway).
