This is possibly the worst experience I've ever had with any business, long or short term, in my life!! When "comparing notes" with other students, you always hear the same things. Angry meetings with the owner and manager about why "student A or B" is so much better for the business than you are, almost making you leave because of it, and all after you have explained that even on a budget, you still try to be a good customer giving your business to them. The staff's ONLY focus is "what's good for business", that you spend as much of your money there as possible, even if it means you are personally unhappy. Another very common thing brought up is that "coincidentally" the students who do more lessons and compete more than others, get better treatment from the staff on a personal level, are nicer to them, buy them gifts, etc., than those who take fewer lessons. Some get significantly much better treatment to the point it borders on violating the "no fraternizing" policy, some students actually having personal communication with their instructors. Lastly, any time you wish to share something about your experience there you did not like, everyone there has this "the staff is always right, the client is always wrong" mentality. I would highly suggest dancing and taking lessons, but do NOT ever go here!
