Pets on Lex

Review: We purchased a puppy from Pets on Lex. He is now 11 months old and has developed serious orthopedic problems. Two orthopedic vets have examined the puppy and tell us all of his joints are deformed. He will require multiple surgeries and be plagued with arthritis for life. The manager of the store refuses to call me back despite repeated phone calls and visits to the store. There is a window of time before the puppy is one year old to remedy this situation by their financial assistance or the breeder that they used to breed this defective puppy's financial assistance. I want to alert the public to this "puppy mill" that is selling puppies that have major health issues and are saddling unknowing families.Desired Settlement: I want the store and/or the breeder to pay for the surgery that this puppy requires. First, I want them to call me back and I want to speak with the breeder in Iowa as well. I think there is still a one year warranty and the puppy is 11 months. We have children and many people would be interested to know how they are ignoring us and how crippled this dog will be due to poor breeding.
