Re: Complaint ID# [redacted] - [redacted] ***To whom it may concern, We spoke with Mr [redacted] on May 24th, at 9:00am when he called our office asking about the equipment in his home that he purchased from a contractor build and if it was still in warranty and what price of a new coil would be Upon speaking with Mr [redacted] he informed us that another company had been out to his house and told him his system had a leak and the other company went ahead and added freon while on site We have not been to this home for the diagnostic call or a service call Upon speaking with Mr [redacted] we informed him that our records indicated the install date is the date the equipment is started Our Records indicate for this property the install date was 03-01-12, which we informed Mr [redacted] of The equipment had a year parts warranty and a year labor warranty as per the manufacturer We also informed Mr [redacted] of this information and that the warranty for the equipment had expired The serial numbers listed on the equipment have no bearing on the warranty, it is time of unit start up with the manufacturer We will be contacting Mr [redacted] directly to explain this information in further detail and try to resolve the matter with him Thank you, [redacted] Peters Service Co
