Review: Dr Brown confirmed prior to procedure that the filling my wife received would be fully covered by insurance, we clearly stated that the only way the procedure was to be performed was by insurance coverage, otherwise another filling of a different color was to used.
Dr brown has since filed a claim, and seeking payment for service that wasn't agreed upon, and we have repeatedly contacted him stating the fact. He agreed and still has pursued collection.Desired Settlement: Billing adjustment and confirmation no collection activity will be posted to credit rating.

On March 15, 2011 patient [redacted] came into our office for a posterior composite filling #[redacted]. Her insurance had changed from [redacted] to [redacted]. Under her [redacted] she had 100% coverage for all fillings. Under her new insurance [redacted] she had 80% coverage for the amalgam fillings only. Patient signed that we our authorized to bill her insurance and also that all charges whether paid by her insurance or not she was responsible for. This is on our health history form which we require all patients to fill out. After Jennifer's insurance paid, her portion of the bill was for $191.60. After several months of billing her and calling upon which we received no calls back we mailed a collection letter on 9/6/2011. It was after this collection letter that patient called and I was able to work with the doctor's to give her a discount of $111 leaving her balance at $80.60. Patient agreed to this cost. After not receiving payment on the negotiated cost, another collection letter was mailed on 9/24/2012. Again, calls were made but no reply back from patient. We mailed a 3rd collection letter on 7/30/2013. Tried calling patient at all numbers available & was not able to get in touch due to no working phone numbers. At this time after working with patient to negotiate a lower price and not hearing back from patient we reported them to collections on 9/27/2013. We tried working are willing to accept a payment plan from patient. Please do not hesitate to contact me at ###-###-#### if you need any further information.
