Persona Doctors Reviews (94)

We received a fax on 6/3/16 at 10:17am with a note from patient G’s physician.  A medical cancellation has been approved by a Persona Doctors staff physician and a refund of $450 has been approved.  A check will be sent to the patient’s home address next week.

As requested, all insurance receipts for the patient have
been generated and this issue has been resolved.  The location the patient receives services
in, College Park, MD, is closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays.  When the clinic re-opened on Friday, the
receipts...

were generated and emailed to the patient by the Clinic Manager.

We apologize for any misunderstandings or miscommunications
between us and patient G.  We have not
received a written cancellation in person or via certified mail from patient G,
as required with the original service agreement signed on Fri 02/20/2015.  However, we will honor the...

04/20/2015 date the
patient sent an email to us.  There is a
60-day cancellation notice required with all of our agreements; although the
amount will be different, the patient will still have a balance that we will
need to resolve.  There were issues with
a couple of our phone lines, if the patient would like to speak with someone
directly, please call ###-###-####.  Due
to the issues encountered while attempting to reach us in April, we are more
than willing to work with patient G and provide services for the time missed
from April through the cancellations/expires date of 06/17/2015.

We apologize for any misunderstandings or miscommunication between Persona Doctors and patient *. We received a written cancellation from patient *
postmarked on 02/01/2016. There is a 60-day cancellation notice required with
all of our agreements; the patient is responsible...

for their bi-monthly charges in
February and March 2016.  The patient’s
service agreement, signed on 9/12/15, is for a six month commitment that began
on 10/03/2015; the last month of that commitment would also be March 2016.
In regards to the patient’s medication concern, the patient downgraded
from a plan that included four medications per month to a plan that included
two medications per month effective November 2015. Therefore, the medical
provider made adjustments at that time to reflect two medications per month.
We would like to work with patient * and provide services until
their cancellation/expires date of 04/03/2016.

Persona Doctors is a great weight loss plan. My first visit at the Beltsville, MD location was extremely informative. I was never rushed to give blood or be tested. I was told what the different plans were for weight loss, the costs for each plan and exactly what was included (meds, visits, etc,). Once I decided to join I was then taken back for EKG, Blood pressure, blood tests, etc. I joined in January 2018 and as of March 2018 have lost 22 pounds! (In spite of the fact that I cheated on several occasions - you know, celebrating! lol) A very easy to follow menu plan is provided for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and snacks. I find that I am not hungry at all. Persona Doctors is highly recommended by me!

This complaint/issue has been addressed directly with the
patient and is resolved.  We apologize
for any miscommunications and/or errors on our part.  A refund has been mailed to the patient in
the form of a check.

We apologize for any misunderstandings and/or
miscommunications between us and patient W regarding the cancellation period
and payment method authorization requests.
A refund for half of March will be issued via check and mailed to the
patient this week.

Persona Doctors advertising says that you can cancel within 30 days with no penalties. My insurance denied my coverage within the first two weeks. I asked to suspend my account. They have continued to charge me even though I have not used their services and are now threatening to send me to collections.

What I saw in the advertisement was 60 days cancellation notice. The first month you could change the plan you were on. There is no allowance for suspension that I know of. I decided to join and love it.

Review: I went to perona doctor as my wife made appoinment and paid them in advance. I knew I had to pay more once I get there so I provide them my credit card. They charge me almost $1000 for two times visit.

unfortunately, they have been charging for two more months and I did not realize that. once I found out, I called them and they just said that was the plan. anyway, I did dispute charges with my bank as credit card fraud.

Once patient enter to their office, they rush it for blood sample and other stuff that I felt like they just want sale me something.

I contact the company the person not only was helpful but also very rude and nasty told me "you cannot do absolutely nothing and go ahead contact Revdex.com. They deal with Revdex.com on daily bases and they do not care"Desired Settlement: I need refund for all unauthorized transactions on my credit card.

Response:

On July

24th patient A signed an agreement for our ‘Basic’ program. At that time a fee for medical testing was

paid ($149 + $50 deposit that was paid upon booking the initial appointment =

$199 total for medical testing). On July

31st when the patient returned to review the test results and start

the weight loss program, a fee of $150 was paid for the Starter Plan/1st

Months Discounted Fee. As stated in the

agreement signed by Patient A, the agreement will automatically renew on a

Month-to-Month basis. It can be

cancelled at any time with a 60-day written notice. The agreement is attached for your

reference. As agreed, the patient was

charged at the end of August and September for the Basic plan ($325 each). After the initial two visits, Patient A also came

into the office on August 14th and August 28th for

services. Patient A rescheduled a

September 12th appointment for October 2nd. Although the October 2nd appointment

was missed, one month of medications were shipped to their home address

(confirmation of delivery attached).

Patient A has attended four appointments, completed medical testing, and

has received medications for three months.

Since

receiving Patient A’s phone call the morning of October 1st, management

has made attempts to reach the patient.

We wanted to apologize for the patient’s experience, answer any

questions the patient has, and are willing to cancel the signed agreement

without the sixty day notice if that is what the patient wants to do. We do not want any patient to feel rushed and

not able to ask questions, and we definitely do not want anyone to sign

something that was not explained/understood first.

Patient

A is requesting a refund but has also stated that chargebacks were submitted to

his/her bank. In addition to services

being rendered for the fees paid, we are unable to review a possible refund

amount until any and all chargebacks are settled.
