Not quite accurate but at least we are both wanting to settle.I left a message and would like to speak with you if you're interested in mediating this.I also left a message with Persian bazaar that he can pick up a $cashiers check and deliver the rugsI am also willing to pick them up at his store.Appreciate *** ***s help.Regards*** ***
I did business with this customer in June of and cleaned a -6' x 9' rug
and charged $
which was a discount from my usual $The customer contacted me March and asked me to pick up rugs (-6' x 9')
for cleaningWhen I arrived at the customer's house, he was not home but his son
wasI asked for a deposit for the cleaning but the son said he didn't have the means
to pay me the depositRight after I picked up the rugs, the son called me and asked
me what the cost for cleaning wasI told him $for each oneThe son said his dad
would only pay $250, which is what he paid in I agreed to charge $per rugAfter I cleaned the rugs, I left a message March 24 notifying the customer that his
rugs were ready to be deliveredThe customer contacted me a week later and said he
didn't have the moneyAfter years of dealing with customers, this made me very
suspicious that the customer was not willing to pay for my servicesThe customer
called the next day and said he had the money to pay meSince I was already suspicious,
I asked the customer to pay me in cashThe customer became very agitated and refused
to pay me cash, insisting on paying by personal check and then he hung upThe next day, the customer called and said he would pay by special checkI didn't know
what he meant and asked him to pay me $cash for the cost of the cleaning rather
than $($for each rug)At this point I was willing to give up my profit and just
collect for the actual cost of the cleaningThe customer started screamimg over the phone
and said he would only pay me a total of $for both rug cleaningsI told him I had a
copy of his payment from where he paid me $to clean one rug and he said he
didn't careAfter numerous conversations over the phone, I offered to return his rugs if he would
pay $in cash which is the price for one rug cleaningHe still refused to pay in cashThe customer then threatened to take me to small claims court and I told him the judge
would make him pay for my servicesI then offered to take a personal check and cash
It to make sure it cleared before I returned the customer's rugs which he also refusedTo end this, I am asking the customer to pay $cash for both his rugsI don't want to
deal with him anymore and am willing to take a loss just so this can be over
Review: The carpets were picked up from my house and are being withheld.
The carpets were to be returned 10 days ago.
After contacting the merchant, named Kamran, he was evasive and difficult. I have done business with them a year or two ago and had no problems. Obviously, his services have declined.
The proprietor demands cash or certified check rather than personal check.
Personal check was method of payment previously.
I have contacted the SD Police Department about his withholding of my property, valued at $2000, and they offered to have a officer present when the exchange is made. This is unfortunate but probably reasonable.
I will not use their services again and would urge caution to others
Thank youDesired Settlement: I would like my cleaned carpets returned
