Review: I brought my vehicle in for an oil change and asked the service advisor to have them check the "carrier bearing", because the car had a "vibration", that got really bad around 62 mph.

He asked me where I felt the vibration, in the steering wheel or in my seat? I said both, it is so bad that the CD cases in the door panel rattle. Never once did I say the word "noise".

After a half hour he came out and said the carrier bearing was bad, which I already knew. He also said that I had a bad pulley and they would replace that and the belt. I trusted this dealership, my family had dealt with them for decades. Never mentioned Noise!

Now the service manager is saying that I need to replace my alternator, because the pulley and belt didn't solve the noise problem. What noise problem??? There wasn't a noise problem when I brought it in? Is this a guessing game, I have to pay you for parts that I don't need for a problem, that didn't exist. I had an outside mechanic look at the bearing, he says there is nothing wrong with it. Now my car whines and is very noisy. I shouldn't be responsible for their service advisors error. Noise was NOT a problem and NEVER mentioned. It was a VIBRATION from the carrier bearing.Desired Settlement: I want a refund, and the noise fixed that wasn't there, when I brought it in.

I am extremely disappointed in Perry Egan.

I SPOKE WITH OUR CUSTOMER [redacted] AND WE MADE AN OFFER TO FIX HERALTNATOR FOR 1/2 THE COST. [redacted] STATED THAT SHE WOULD THINK ABOUT THAT OFFERBUT SHE ALSO INDICATED THAT SHE WANTED TO TRADE IN HER VEHICLE FOR A MAZDA.WE BELIEVED THAT THERE WERE SEVERAL ISSUES TO THE REPAIRS OF HER CAR.
