Until receiving this complaint, we had no idea that Mr*** was unhappy with our servicesWe began our business relationship with Mr*** when he brought in a Kia that had been at another shop and they had informed him that he needed a rear main engine seal to stop the leak, he was unhappy
with them and did not authorize the repairs there. After we inspected the vehicle it was determined that the leak was from an o ring that was not replaced during his last oil changeIt was a simple repair and we did this for him at no chargeLater as Mr*** states he brought in his 80's model box Guck that had been converted into a dog washing vehicleThis vehicle had several oil leaks at the timeMr*** had said it was a new engine however he was unhappy with the shop that did the repairs and did not want to return to him for warranty repairsWe advised Mr*** that it needed to have entire engine resealed, instead Mr*** chose to only repair leaks that were leaking at this timeIt was explained to him that even though these seals are replaced the oil will find the next weakest seal and they may begin to leak after wardsHe stated he only wanted to fix the ones leaking at this time. As Mr *** says, he returned twice more with different seals leaking that were not replaced before and therefore not covered by his warrantyHe agreed each time with the repairs and again, seemed to be happy with our repairs at the timeEach time we had to repair additional seal we did discount the repairs for him. After receiving this complaint I immediately contacted Mr*** to let him know that he has warranty on any of our work and that if the same seals were leaking we would be happy to take care of them for himI was wanting him to understand we have never and wont ever deny him warranty repairs. Instead Mr*** began screaming on the phone, talking over me and then hung up on meI do not know how we can help Mr*** if he won't give us the opportunity to do soI assume he has added us to the list of other shops that cant seem to make him happyWe do not feel MrHowells demand for refund is justifiable and cannot accept his request to do so.However if Mr*** has any issues with the repairs that we have done for him we would be more than happy to repair themIf it's different seals leaking than what we have replaced for him they will not be covered by his warranty. Remind him that our business hours are mon-thurs till 5;and Fri till He must understand that he has a large box tuck and we have only one lift to pick it up and that lift is not always readily available but we will fit him him in asap.Thank you*** *** / Center Manager
