Review: After attending Performance Spine for physical therapy for back related issues, and being convinced by the medical doctors that chiropractic care from Performance Spine with my physical therapy would improve my back concerns even though they knew that I was attending my own chiropractor outside of their practice, I made an appointment for chiropractic care at Performance Spine and discontinued attending my own chiropractor. Knowing that I had 30 visits on my insurance plan, but not knowing how many I had used at my previous chiropractor, Performance Spine did not tell me that I was denied visits by my insurance company, or that I had used up my 30 visits on my plan. It was not until 13 chiropractic visits later that they had informed me that I no longer had visits left on my plan. Also, at no time, did Performance Spine tell me how much the chiropractic visits would cost. Now, they are telling me that I have to pay $65 for each chiropractic visit, except for one visit which my insurance paid for. Thus, owing Performance Spine $780.00. I should have been notified that my chiropractic visits were maxed out before the 12 visit.Desired Settlement: I should not be charged the $780.00 as I was not made aware of the price for the chiropractic visits at any time and was not told that my visits were maxed out until after the 12th visit. They continued to allow me to see the chiropractor for 12 visits before telling me that my insurance has maxed out and the cost of the chiropractic care.
