Perfectly Mannered Mutts Dog Training

Early February 2020, my boyfriend *** and I got in contact with M ***, the owner and trainer of Perfectly Mannered Mutts Dog Training, which has been recently changed from Happy Tails Dog Training, to help correct some of our dog’s behaviors. Upon M arriving to our residence for the first training session, we were told to we needed to give her payment for all of our dog’s training (5 sessions) upfront. The total payment was $480.00, broken up to 3 individual sessions, at $120.00 each, and 2 group sessions, at $60.00 each. After the first individual training session was completed we scheduled for the next session for the following week. 20-30 minutes before our second session, M texted *** and told us she would not be able to make it to the second session due to her being sick and asked to reschedule. It has been a little over a week since our scheduled second training session and we are not able to get ahold of her to get any further information. M will not answer ***’s calls or return his messages both texting and voicemails. I did inquire about her services through my phone number and she got back to me right away. At this point, we are certain M is deliberately ignoring us and avoiding contacting us. I don’t feel this is right because I feel like we have been scammed out of $360.00. I am questioning if M is a legitimate business owner or if she collects full payments from clients, then doesn’t contact them again.
