Tenant has been hostile since day 1. Most likely because they have been repeatedly late on rent. Our lease states that IF a tenant has appeared to abandoned apartment we are permitted to take immediate possession I actually live (when I am in Columbus) directly across the street so of
course I drive by a lot...(Da!!!!) This hostile tenant takes that as harassment. This is the same tenant who gives an incredibly hard time EVERY time we have had to respond to a maintenance request. So Glad to see them go....Also as a landlord I have the right to enter with at least hours notice...I fear that this tenant will vandalize the apartment and want to enter for purposes of documentation of the condition of the unit The last time I gave proper notice they called the police...As I have mentioned...Very hostile tenants....When I got the notification I called to actually offer a reduced rent for the month if they would move out a few days before the end of the month...I was met with more hostility even trying to save them money...Go figure Respectfully submittedBill G*** mgr

I am rejecting this response because: we have not been consistently late on rent, nor been hostile towards any of the “maintenance workers” or even hostile towards the owner until he provoked it by being unprofessional,rude, and by threatening my familyIf we were such bad tenants, then why renew our lease for seven years and why has the owner been unprofessional and rude to other businesses when we applied at other places (including our new landlord)And just because someone lives in the area does not mean they have to stop in front of your driveway (more than once) and cuss out my wife and IThe police were just there because I was filing a report and then he just shows up yelling profanities out of his vehicleI also have the numerous texts, voicemail, and email showing the level of unprofessionalism he has displayed.
