Review: I took my 2007 Nissan Pathfinder to Perfection Auto in May of 2013 because I felt there may be something wrong with my truck because it was driving wierd. I thought it might be my transmission I was told by the mechanic and [redacted] and her Husband [redacted] that I did not need a transmission. They advised that my transmission was in great condition and all I needed was a tune up and that I could continue to drive my truck. I drop my Truck off to have the tune up done on July 6th 2013. I picked my truck up around 4pm and with in 15 minutes I noticed that my truck was still driving the same. I told my truck right back to the auto shop and advised that I was still having the same issue. [redacted] did a diagnostic check and advised that everything was fine. I advised [redacted] that it was not and to have either him or the mechanic drive it. At first they gave me a hard time about test driving my truck. The mechanic agreeded to test drive the truck I rode with him and he notice the problem that I was having, which was my RPM gadge was going to high while driving. [redacted] advised that I bring the truck back to them on Monday 7/8/2013 and the would fix my issue and pay for it. I dropped my truck off at 9am and advised around 5pm that my transimisson was bad and that I had coolant leaking into my transmission which they could not fix. I asked will they being giving me a refund being that I paid for a tune up which they advised would fix the way my truck was running. They advised they would not give me a refund. I have not received an itemized statement of what they actually did. I took my truck to a Nissan dealer and connfirmed that my transmission was the issue and this is covered under my warranty. I also learned for a mechanic at the dealer that the Nissan Pathfinder would be due for a tune up around 105,000 miles. I have 76,702 miles on my truck. I called [redacted] today 7/10/13 and adivised him of the information I received from the dealer ship and asked for my money back for repair.Desired Settlement: I would like to receieve $340.71 back from Perfection auto for a repair that was not need and probably was'nt done.
