No one wants to go to the ERHowever, most of us find ourselves sitting in the waiting roomWe have been in this situation twice with our chronically ill daughterBoth visits she was extremely ill but still had to wait a good amount of time in the waiting roomOnce in the back, the staff realized her condition was seriousIn the first visit they couldn't get her oxygen above 82, even on max oxygenOur daughter sat in the bed in the ER, with the oxygen constantly beeping, for hoursThey didn't take her condition serious and she ended up being taken by Flight for Life to ICU in DenverWhere she remained for a weekThe second occasion wasn't her breathing but severe dehydration from the fluAgain, her condition serious and we sat for seven hours until being transported to ICU at ***The dr didn't explain much and when asked if she was going to be okReplied with, "we will do what we can." Im thankful for *** and Children's Hospital & won't go back to Penrose

This establishment fails to give proper care to its patientsThey neglected to care for our son and overlooked his carewe were discharged with out ever receiving any carenone of the doctors there showed any concern for his well being , only concern that we were bad parents once they could not prove any kind of abuse whatso ever we were discharged and shoved out the doorthis hospital is a failure and a disgrace, I am telling everyone I know to stay away
