I entered the unit after experiencing extreme disorientationmuscle weakness and emotional distressIt was my first trip to an emergency roomThe nurses were giggling and ignoring me and my husband and friend who came alongWE later found the nurses to be so incompetent they marked 'no insurance' while the first thing my husband did was give them my Kaiser Perminsurance cardI then waited for at least minutes for 'triage' (even though we were the ONLY ones in the waiting room!) A kind man in a blue suit gave me a wheelchair because I could not walkin triage three people yelled at me "are you suicidal??" I said "NO!" and added, "I've never felt this way, maybe it is a nervous breakdown or somethingI had one about years ago." Long story short, I was discharged with NO diagnosis! After many months I found I had POST Concussive syndromeMy friend TOLD everyone in the ER I had hit my head a few months earlier but all ignored that information
