These guys are terribleThey shut off my electric in an apartment I used to rent while I was out of town on businessThey had a bill returned to them so instead of calling me or resending the bill they just shut off the power leaving a refrigerator full of rotten food in my apartment without my knowledgeI returned on a Sunday to find no power in the middle of winter and the odor of a frozen chicken (now rotten) in the apartmentI called Pennyrile to see what was going on and was told I was unreachable by mail so they shut off my powerWhy do they have my phone number, address, e-mail and yet just give up when the US postal service mistakenly returns a piece of mail? I was charged $to have my power turned on because it was a SundayWhere does the $come in? They flipped a switch somewhere and I had power while I was still on the phone with customer serviceI couldn't say no because it was winter and wait a day for the no fee dayThese guys are the only option if you want power in some places around here so you have to deal with their nonsenseI filed a complaint with the Revdex.com on them after the situation occurred but they never respondedI just want to say that they have no competition and therefore have the luxury of ignoring customer complaints
These guys are terrible. They shut off my electric in an apartment I used to rent while I was out of town on business. They had a bill returned to them so instead of calling me or resending the bill they just shut off the power leaving a refrigerator full of rotten food in my apartment without my knowledge. I returned on a Sunday to find no power in the middle of winter and the odor of a frozen chicken (now rotten) in the apartment. I called Pennyrile to see what was going on and was told I was unreachable by mail so they shut off my power. Why do they have my phone number, address, e-mail and yet just give up when the US postal service mistakenly returns a piece of mail? I was charged $100 to have my power turned on because it was a Sunday. Where does the $100 come in? They flipped a switch somewhere and I had power while I was still on the phone with customer service. I couldn't say no because it was winter and wait a day for the no fee day. These guys are the only option if you want power in some places around here so you have to deal with their nonsense. I filed a complaint with the Revdex.com on them after the situation occurred but they never responded. I just want to say that they have no competition and therefore have the luxury of ignoring customer complaints.
