Review: Hi. I placed an order with International Penfriends (World Cultural Foundation) in Chelan, WA on April 4, 2014. I ordered penpals for my 7 year old son. I paid $20 for the penpals. International Penfriends website says it will take 2-4 weeks to receive penpals. We have been waiting almost 7 weeks and have not received a list of penpals. I tried contacting International Penfriends 2 weeks ago via email to find out what was going on and they never responded.Desired Settlement: I would like my son to receive his list of penpals. I would also like to receive a refund due to lack of communication and the seriously long delay in supplying penpals. Thank you.

Review: I mailed 12 applications to International Pen Friends with two checks that totaled $69.00. The checks have been cashed on September 19, 2015 but I have not received any pen friend pen pals as I had ordered. I've contacted the company multiple times via email, as well, as written letter and have heard no word from them.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of $69.00.

Review: I sent in 3 applications for lists of pen pals in October 2013. My three checks, $20 each, cleared my bank account in November. I contacted the company online In February and April, and I sent them a letter in April 2014, requesting that they refund my money.Desired Settlement: I want my $60 back. I would also like to see the company's website shut down. There is a legitimate company that has been connecting pen pals for decades, and this fraudulent company perpetuates its scam by stealing the legitimate company's information and good reputation.

Review: On June 3rd, 2013, I filled out an online application for my 7-year-old daughter for membership to International Pen Friends' correspondence program. I paid $20.00 for membership and an address list of 10 children around the world that were matched to my daughter's interests. It was supposed to be delivered to us in the mail in two to four weeks.It is now August 29th. Nothing ever arrived. My daughter waited eagerly. I tried contacting them. We have never received any communication from them - not email, not snail mail, not phone. Nothing at all. I have tried three times to connect with them and receive some kind of status update. I am realizing this is a giant scam. If all these complaints are correct and to put it bluntly, they steal. They're simply taking people's money, and not delivering on the services promised. I'm disappointed no one has shut them down or terminated the company's PayPal account.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for my $20.00 and I would like this business to be shut down if they cannot deliver on any goods or services.
