I am rejecting this response because: Here is my response: The student discount was never offered. If we were told about it, there would be no issue producing a schedule. But they clearly want to milk their residents for every penny, so it was never even told to us. We had to pay a larger deposit in part due to the fact that my daughter was a full-time student and not employed. As far as the carpet stains, this is all a farce. I think they mentioned bleach stains- maybe their cleaning staff damaged the carpets?? I never received a call from the community. They contacted my teenager, you know the full time student? Yeah that one. I went as far as checking my phone records and there was nothing. I'm happy to provide that documentation as well. Just say the word. I have never experienced such shady practices in the 20+ years of living in apartment complexes. I am disgusted that this is how they do business. We were exemplary tenants without so much as a single late payment. Apparently I need to contact the management company directly. [redacted]Sent from my iPhone

10/07/15 In response to the Revdex.com complaint #[redacted], The past residents moved out on 08/23/15 and were charged $736.00 for carpet replacement and $18 pet rent pro-rate from 08/01/15-08/23/15. The total deposit that was paid at move in by the residents was $600.00 and was...
applied to the total charges resulting in a balance due of $154.00. The carpet was replaced due to damage from pet urine and bleach spots. Our office attempted to make contact with both lease holders on 09/18/15 by telephone as a courtesy to see if they would like to make payment arrangements and remind them that any balance remaining will be sent to collections after 15 days of move out if no payment arrangement has been made or payment is not received. One lease holder said she would be in the next day to make the payment in full and a little while later the other lease holder called our office very upset regarding the charges and said that she refused to pay and to go ahead and send her account to collections. The account was sent to collections on 09/21/15 after no payment was received. *The carpet was replaced and the invoice is available at our office if the prior residents would like to view it. *Pictures of the damaged carpet are available to see at our office if the prior residents would like to view them. *A student discount is available to any lease holder that is a full time student and provides a class schedule at move in. In this particular situation, there was not a class schedule that was provided at move in therefore, a discount was not applied to the account. If there are any other questions or concerns regarding this matter please feel free to contact our office. Thank you. Natasha C[redacted] Community Manager
