After receiving quotes from several different companies, we finally decided on pella for our replacement windows. They started the process in June and had all of our windows out and replaced in one day. The second day was to be the “finish work”. After they applied the vinyl trim on the outside, my husband came home from work and walked around to inspect them and was extremely unhappy with the quality and workmanship. He called and they sent the crew back out the following week. The same crew proceeded to “bandaid” the windows by just applying additional caulk. My husband proceeded to call our salesman and he sent out the head of installation to inspect it. He agreed with our assessment and had another installer come out the following week to fix it for us. He proceeded to tear off all the trim and started replacing accordingly. This was in August. It is now November 20th. This entire process started on June 12th and the installer is here FINALLY finishing the trim work. We have had unfinished windows for 5.5 months. We typically do our home projects ourselves but figured with such a big project we would pay to have it done to save us the time and effort. That was a huge mistake and we would not go with pella again.
I have been trying to order a new screen from Pella for the past 4 months. They have sent the wrong screen 3 times. I have told them each time what was needed and has still come in wrong. I asked that they send a technician out so that it could be ordered correctly but have been told that isn't needed and would cost me $150.
For Event# 190809-000217 we show a customer named ***, not *** - perhaps someone is assisting the customer as this complaint appears to be tied to ***.
On the first quote signed by the customer - attached - they signed for a Champagne screen, however white was what they wanted. We placed that reorder at no additional cost to the customer and it was manufactured incorrectly. The correct screen has been ordered as of 10/23/19 and will be shipped to the customer.
We will make every effort to get the customer what they need and resolve this promptly.
