Review: Mr. D[redacted] (the owner) and his helper did a walk-around and gave me an estimate; he and his helper would do the job in three 3) days for an agreed upon price. Work began on Tuesday 6/**. However, Mr. D[redacted] was a "no show." Instead, his helper showed up alone. I asked where the boss was and he told me that he was doing scaffold work on [redacted]. The helper worked for 4 1/2 days; Mr. D[redacted] never was a part of the job. However, he did collect $ 2,092.37. The job was not completed to my satisfaction. I sent an e-mail to the address on his business card and never received a response. I called the phone # on his card and my call was "blocked." I called his cell #, left a message and my call was never returned. He took all the money; short-changed the days to be worked and the job is unsatisfactory.Desired Settlement: A refund of $ 975.00. The estimate was for $ 1,950.00 - both Mr. D[redacted] and helper for all 3 days. I must search and contract with another vendor to complete the job.
