Upfront pricing and options were provided to customer. Customer accepted option to have thermostat installed for price quoted. We have documentation to prove customer accepted. Looking at the cost of the thermostat only is a small portion of the cost involved in sending a highly trained, background checked, drug tested technician to your home to perform the installation.

I am rejecting this response because:This is not true. The technician advised me to have the system recharged and to have dye put in the system which is what I agreed to. He stated that the apartment would cool off that day and that if there was a leak it could be detected easily because of the dye in the system. He said that there may not in fact be a leak at all, that the system may have never been filled properly. I did what he suggested and it didn't work. When he returned he wanted another $550 to do a leak check. Why was a I charged almost $300 for dye if it would not detect the leak. Since sending this complaint I had another company come and repair the a/c. They determined that Magnolia DID NOT put any dye in they system as they charged me for. I have video proof of this. The new company also determined that there was not a leak in the system at all that there was a faulty part in the system. They replaced the part under warranty and they system is working correctly. Magnolia did not do what I paid for and tried to get me to pay them more money for work that was not needed. They also incorrectly diagnosed the problem and demanded more money to fix an issue that never existed. I am not an a/c expert. I expected that they would come and do what was necessary to fix the system and I went along with the Magnolia technician's recommendations and when it was clear that the work Magnolia had done was not correct I filed this complaint.

customer multiple options and they agreed to only a few recommendations. We have now been contacted by yourself claiming to be the owner of the property asking to be refunded monies for work already completed and done for a different client at the same address. We cannot refunded you monies for work contracted by someone else. You also are unaware of any of the discussions our technician had with this particular client. In your letter to the Revdex.com you are claiming that another contractor came out to the property and is accusing us of tampering with the unit in order to take advantage of people. We take accusations as such very seriously and ask that you send over any and all documentation for our review. Unfortunately we were never contracted to do any work for you at this location, and cannot refund you for work agreed to and paid by others.

We are not showing in our system that we serviced this address for hvac: the last time we were out to this address was for drain cleaning in 2013.Please provide a copy of the work order the technician left at the time of service. Also please confirm the address you are providing is...

I am rejecting this response because:the agreed upon price was 756 dollars your technician charged an extra 600+ for? I have not seen a bill or description let alone a picture of the work done. You adjusted the price because my roofer called you out. Please send proof you did something more than reattach our air conditioner.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution could be satisfactory to me.  As you know, it is still not working properly and I will have to waste more of my time this week with your company.  The incompetence level at your company is astounding for the type of work that you do and the length of time that you have been in business.  I should have been told in the beginning that you were not familiar with the type of system that I have so that I could find a more competent company.

our customers that our pricing structure is one that offers best in the business warranties and sometimes additional work that is completed at the time of service as well. . The parts can sometimes be a small portion of the total price when you consider the expense involved in dispatching a highly trained, background checked, drug tested, technician out to your home.  Our goal is to always go above and beyond to satisfy every client every single time.

On the June 27th our technician went out and did a courtesy Ac inspection. Once onsite our technician determined customer was low on freon, which was explained to customer that a $109 diagnostic is needed. Customer choose to move forward, she was advised she had a leak and wanted to move...

forward and add leak seal and freon. Customer was told that the a leak search is needed and there were no guarantees on how long the Freon would stay in the system. Customer called back in stating her unit is not working on July 3rd, tech did another diagnostic and determine the Freon had leaked out again and the next step is to go forward with the leak test. Customer choose not to move forward with test.
