they had made an error in processing ***'s claim and agreed to reprocess it according to Mr***'s contractWe have just received the EOB from United Healthcare showing a provider adjustment was made because the patient did not need to obtain a valid authorization for the visitMr*** assumed that it was the mistake of the Pediatric Center of Round Rock but it was his own insurance where the mistake was madeWe file insurance as a courtesy for our patient but it is a contract between the patient and their insurance company not between patient and providerThe responsibilities lay between the patient and the insurance companyWe always try our best to correct any mistakes that we makeUnited Healthcare should have sent an EOB to Mr*** also, showing the adjustmentThank you for your time in this matterIf I can be of further help, please call me at ***Sincerely, *** ***
