Pedal Power Tours

Review: Pedal Power ran a special on Groupon for "Admission for two for pedal-powered party bike." Fine print read "Reservation required. Limit 1 per person, may buy 2 additional as gifts. Valid only Monday-Friday." After trying unsuccessfully to schedule this tour on Tuesday June 30 at 1 pm and Friday July 24, we were able to schedule our ride for Friday August 14. The Tuesday June 30 ride was cancelled because he couldn't fill the bike. Pedal Power never responded to our request to schedule for July 24. When we arrived Friday August 14, Dan W[redacted], owner of Pedal Power, pulled a bait and switch. He insisted we give him more money though the previously purchased Groupon clearly stated that it was good for 2 people Monday - Friday. Business owner claimed it was a weekend, though it was Friday, would not look at the Groupon's fine print, became angry and refused us service. He told us, I am the business owner and I can do whatever I want, and to go get our money back from Groupon. Though it was past the 3 day Groupon refund policy period, Groupon gave us credit in full for our purchase due to Pedal Power's refusal to honor the fine print of their ad.Desired Settlement: This complaint is for Revdex.com information and to advise future consumers of this business's poor communication and unscrupulous business practices.
