Review: I visited Atty Brent P[redacted] on May 26, 2015 about an issue for which I was accused. Upon entering conference room, he shook my hand and I thought I [redacted]l on his [redacted]. Throughout the Q&A he was tapping his feet and his pen repeatedly. I wrote him a check and he assured me "We're gonna get you through this." That was the last time I heard from him until I phoned his office to have a portion of my money refunded as he did NOTHING to resolve my situation. It was actually my father that prompted the police to return my property. Finally on September 22, 2015 I went to his office after 9 times leaving my phone number and not being called back. I asked for am itemized bill...he refused to supply it. When asked when he met with the DA, as he claimed to have done, he adopted a condescending smile and said "I don't recall". He then suggested it was inappropriate for me to expect him to remember when he met with the DA. He was sure of one thing...he was keeping my money....ALL OF IT!!! As of this minute, I have NO proof that he did ANYTHING regarding my case. Again...HE REFUSED TO SUPPLY ME WITH AN ITEMIZED BILL!!! Perhaps the [redacted] and amped up demeanor should have alerted me to seek other counsel. I hope this will prevent others from making the profound mistake I did. He assured me that MY best interests were the top priority...that was simply a lie.Desired Settlement: I would like a portion of my money refunded.
