Peacock's Upholstery

Contracted with Peacock's Upholstery to reupholster 2 chairs which exhibited extremely poor workmanship.In January of 2015 I contracted with this company to reupholster 2 chairs. The cost of the chairs were $800 and $1100. Mr. Peacock picked the first chair up and when he brought it back about a month later I told him it was not right; the sides of the chair could be seen about 6 inches up from the arm and the seat cushion. He said that was no problem and would fix it. He then took the other chair. A few months later I received the 2nd chair and there is the same problem but not so noticeable. In addition the arm rests do not come all the way back to the back and there is about a 4 inch gap. The second chair was picked up by someone I hired to pick it up and the 1st chair was dropped off at the same time. Mr. Peacock kept my chair for months saying he was going to repair it and that his helper was out of town. After numerous months Mr. Peacock phoned me to tell me the chair was ready and I again hired someone to pick the chair up and drop the second off. This time the man noticed that nothing had been done to the 1st chair and it was still in the condition it was in and he brought both chairs back. I have asked Mr. Peacock for a refund because he did not do the work in a satisfactory manner and while the chairs may be useable they are an eyesore. Mr. Peacock refuses to refund my money or repair his sloppy work./////Desired SettlementBoth chairs have to be totally reupholstered and I am seeking a complete refund for all moneys paid plus interest and delivery and pickup charges./////
