About year ago, I contacted this company to help me solve a PC problemThey did a remote review & notified me that my PC (a newly purchased factory authorized re-furbished Dell) was still corrupted & offered to repair it for a (negotiated) fee of &which I paidAfter awhile, I had obtained a cheaper service & un-installed their programs
Starting in March of this year, I started receiving phone calls from them asking me to give them remote access to do maintenance which I told them I didn't need their service anymoreUpon the third call from them< I was informed by "Kevin" that the service was still valid for a period of an additional 18monthsHaving been dealing with a upload & freezing problem with my PC at that time, I agreed to let then remotely diagnose it whereupon they once again said my computer was corrupted by a Zeus Trojan malware that they claimed that even top anti-virus programs such as Norton Security (my current program) couldn't catch or prevent& that it would again cost me $(this amount agreed on after considerable "negotiating" down from $that also was the original figure quoted last year)The work done considered of downloading additional anti-malware & related software programsUpon completion of work, payment & signing-off, I re-started & immediately encountered the same original problems! There was NO changeI contacted Norton Security & found out that they DO handle & prevent the aforementioned virus & much more & warned me that additional anti-virus programs would potentially damage my computerI am a senior on a fixed Social Security income & the expenditure of this amount is a problemI have contacted them requesting a full refund of the $However, I am mainly concerned that this company is practicing deceptive & business practices in their methodsIf I do not receive a reply & refund by the end of this week, I will file a complaint with you & the FTCThis is NOT a company I would recommend to anyone
