I am truly tired of being treated as a stupid person with NO knowledge of technologyI have been to this place a few times, most times have left me not happy with the outcomeTwo of the few times I went, I wanted a quote on something or more information on a certain productThe outcome was that it was impossible for that idea to exist or it would not work due to the fact that they have never heard of this itemHowever, roughly a year later they end up having a similar item to the ideaThis latest (final) time, I wanted to convert a old network external hard drive into a regular USB hard drivethe person at the front of the store immediately wanted to tell me how difficult of a task it would be to convert the hard driveHis reason, as he made a point to show me what he was talking about, was the power button on the case of the hard driveAll of this happened without me being able to inform him that the hard drive had an interchangeable power baseThe only thing a person needed to do was remove the hard drive from the old housing and attach it to a external hard drive housing Bottom line, I am finished going to this store
I am truly tired of being treated as a stupid person with NO knowledge of technology. I have been to this place a few times, most times have left me not happy with the outcome. Two of the few times I went, I wanted a quote on something or more information on a certain product. The outcome was that it was impossible for that idea to exist or it would not work due to the fact that they have never heard of this item. However, roughly a year later they end up having a similar item to the idea. This latest (final) time, I wanted to convert a old network external hard drive into a regular USB hard drive. the person at the front of the store immediately wanted to tell me how difficult of a task it would be to convert the hard drive. His reason, as he made a point to show me what he was talking about, was the power button on the case of the hard drive. All of this happened without me being able to inform him that the hard drive had an interchangeable power base. The only thing a person needed to do was remove the hard drive from the old housing and attach it to a external hard drive housing.
Bottom line, I am finished going to this store.
