PB flooring

We had a great referral to use this company for our flooring needs in our home . They came out and gave us an estimate which we were happy with. We gave a $5000 deposit that nowhere stated was non refundable .
Moving forward, we had the most unpleasant experience and completely unprofessional .
We were charged for them coming in and job site not being ready , however we made sure to tell them not to come in that day and they didn’t .
Once it was ready , they came in and told us that our floors were moist . Any flooring professional would have a moisture meter to assist with moisture concerns . The following day we had different professionals come in and check moisture and they had no moisture . Pb flooring suggested we get different floors from where they recommend because it was most likely easier for them to work with those floors . Since they didn’t provide any warranty of the work that they would do , we felt uncomfortable using them moving forward and explained the situation .
We asked them to take out money from the deposit for the removal and cleanup that they did . It took them weeks to refund us some of the money and out of 5000$ they refunded us 900$, which is absurd.
I would never recommend them to anyone and would want anyone to know that they rip you off and are not professional flooring company . They do not know how to work with multiple floors just their own .
