Review: Summer of 2013: I purchased three sets of scrubs (tops and bottoms). When I got them home they did not fit. I went to return the three sets of scrubs but the store would not give credit on one set because the tags were off. The remaining two sets of scrubs (top and bottom) still had the tags but they would only issue store credit in the amount of $57 and change.January 2014: I tried to use the store credit to order New Balance shoes. The [redacted], **, left a message that they could not get the shoes I was looking for.March *, 2015: I went to the store in person to see if I could get a cash refund. At this point it is clear to me that I will not be shopping there since it is a year and a half since the original purchase. The staff at the register was pleasant enough to deal with.I explained the situation to her so she could look up the credit in their ledger book & verify the amount of $57 and change. Afterward she called her [redacted] to see if they could issue a cash refund. When she got off the phone she said they could not. A little while later she called her boss again and put me on the phone to speak with **. This was the same man who left a message in January 2014 and said he could not get the shoes I was looking to order. By the end of our conversation it was clear that he was sticking to his original policy: that they would only issue store credit. I explained to him that there is no merchandise that they sell at I am interested in. Their scrubs are made of polyester, which I cannot wear, and they cannot order the shoes that I need. His parting advice before we got off the phone was that they could issue a new store credit receipt and maybe I could sell it to someone. I replied by saying I will be posting a review on the Internet and contacting the Revdex.com.Desired Settlement: I'm submitting this complaint because I've tried to use their credit over a period of 1 1/2 years but there is no merchandise that I can use (as stated above.) I'd like a refund. If I cannot get a refund then I'd like my experience with Payless Uniforms on record to help prevent this from happening again to other customers.
