Pay Per Load Movers

They get 2 stars because the movers showed up on time and worked hard.

Initially, I thought I had a decent experience with Derek (Owner) and Pay Per Load Movers until I noticed some clothes and a couple large, necessary pieces to assemble a bed didn't make the move. Derek didn't do much to rectify the situation after our initial phone call regarding the matter where he presented as helpful and concerned to locate the items. Whether or not the items were left behind or on their truck, I guess we'll never know.

Derek has ignored each (2) of my follow up contacts, including a picture from the internet of the bed item, since the initial reach out call when he indicated he would check their truck and get back to me. He did call the previous residence to determine if the items were left behind. The result was "no" per Derek as well as the office manager I spoke with, however he didn't not get back to me after stating he would reach out to the movers the check the truck.

So after paying for a quite expensive move (approximately $900) AND tipping both movers because, we know how hard that work is, the owner decided to ignore my follow up and not rectify the situation. I'm not able to assemble a bed without having to now purchase a couple of $50 pieces which to me seems reasonable and economical for them to replace compared to the amount of money they made on the move. I'm not understanding how advertising being licensed and insured benefits the customer nor how he earned such fabulous reviews Online. We chose them because of a recommendation. Disappointing that this mentality does exist with this company.
