Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: Paxton represented themselves as the moveno time did they inform me they were a booking agent and/or not the actual mover, nor do any of the documents I am in possession of list *** anywhere on the documents Further, I have a letter from a Paxton representative who only refers to *** as our "parent company." Whoever the movers were representing, they did pack, list, and ship the crystal on the high value sheet of the packing/moving list The items were very expensive and valuable and they were not delivered It is not up to me to inquire as to whatever other methods either company are available My next step will be to sue both companies for $6,and, potentially, for fraud since it is clear that the initials on the tick sheet are not my handwriting I am providing this opportunity for you to settle the claim out of court If you do not wish to take advantage of it, that's up to you The fact is that my documents say Paxton, they said they were the movers, I have a guarantee of replacement/reimbursement for items damaged or missing and I duly reported same on the forms Paxton provided, within a timely mannerand I have not yet been reimbursed for the missing crystal of $6,

I am rejecting this response because: the moving company guarantees reimbursement or replacement of all items missing or damaged for up to days from the time of the move Valuable crystal is missing worth $6,000, as indicated on the form the company provided I did not personally sign anything indicated that all items moved were received and the bingo sheet received recently is a forgery of my initials

Review: I moved from Michigan to Missouri to Illinois all within a three month period of time for work. Paxton Moving was the mover ([redacted] Van Lines is the parent company). Theresa K[redacted] handled my case: [redacted]. The company guarantees (backed by [redacted]) the replacement of items missing or damaged for up to 270 days after the move. When my boxes arrived in Illinois, they were crushed and clearly had been opened and gone through. For example, there was a quilt in a re-taped box that wasn't even mine! I submitted a claim for $12,000 for missing and damaged goods. [redacted] sent me a check for $6,000 because Theresa K[redacted] claimed they were not liable since my "tick sheet" which they provided a copy of in the mail in June 2014 said that I had received everything they gave me. The largest part of what is missing is very expensive crystal glassware, hand carried for me from Austria. I told them in the first place I didn't want them handling my crystal but they insisted, promising they would replace it if damaged. In any event, the "Tick sheet" they sent me had three initials which were my initials, but not my handwriting. I believe their storage people went through my boxes and may have stolen the crystal...otherwise, why would it not have been delivered. They need to send me the remaining $6,000, immediately so I do not have to resolve it through legal channels.Desired Settlement: They owe me $6,000 for the missing crystal

The movers were not from PAXTON. The movers were from [redacted] Van Lines. The claim is with [redacted] Van Lines Inc. Not Paxton Van Lines Inc. Review: Paxton international was hired to move my belongings from Doha, Qatar back to [redacted], Texas. I paid Paxton international an additional fee to insure my equipment for $35,000. Almost all of my equipment showed up non functional and they will neither replace nor repair my equipment as agreed upon in the contract I signed. Paxton claims that the damage was due to climactic change and therefore not covered, but they have failed to provide me with a document of their coverage policy. They have also failed to provide a document of their coverage policy with my signature on it containing the climactic change term.Desired Settlement: I would like them to replace my equipment. This equipment is my life. I've been without it for 9 months now.
