Review: I am a customer of Paul's Volvo Repair. I had been to Paul's on 11-3-2015 for 165,000 mile service. They told me three other things were wrong with the car. 1. Right Ball Joint has alot of play. 2. Spring seats are worn. 3. Front brake hoses are cracked. None of this was noticed by me driving the car. I asked if any were dangerous and was told the baal joint needed to be replaced. I had it done that day.
I hit something in the road on a dark and very rainy evening of 11-19-2015. It broke the windshield and it was replaced. I met with my insurance adjuster on 12-1-2015 to see about other damage. May have had water leaks from drains which were not found . No more water leaks after windshield replaced. post cover $113.35, Rt Fog Light Broken $218.20 and Both Spring Seats are broken $367.02 and Loaner car P-2 $15.00. I was not told I was being charged for the loaner car until after I picked up my estite and got my keys back. I had been shopping and needed to transfer bags from loaner car to my car. When I went back in to return the "loaner car" key I was told I had to pay for the estimate and "loaner car. Total $41.85. Which I protested but they would not change their mind. I have never been charged for an estimate or a loaner car for an accident vehicle. And I do not believe they should charge me without telling me. Bad estimate. On 11-3-15 they said the seats were worn and would need to be replaced in the future. After the accident of 11-19-15 the sping seats are BROKEN. No reccomdation to insurance to prorate broken spring seats. Bad estimate. It should be up to the Auto claims rep. worn and in 16 days after the accident BROKEN.Desired Settlement: Refund for estimate and loaner car. $41.85. Pay for prorated cost of replacing spring seats since he gave poor estimate.

This letter is in regard to complaint # [redacted] by [redacted]. Ms. [redacted] brought her vehicle in on November 3, 2015 for a 165,000 mile maintenance, a general check over of the vehicle is performed. We informed Ms. [redacted] of several issues found with her vehicle. The right ball joint had a lot of play, the spring seats were worn, and the front brake hoses had cracks. At that time Ms. [redacted] had us to only replace the right ball joint.
