Customer stated he was experiencing a bump upon start up and an occasional rubbing soundAlthough customers’ elevator was in full service, customers concerns were addressed each time he contacted us. He contacted us 2/15/15, customer stated door lock was getting stuckWe responded on
2/20/and made adjustmentsHe contacted us again on 4/27/and stated he heard an unfamiliar noiseWe responded on 5/6/15, adjusted the elevator to alleviate the noise. We were then again contacted on 5/7/customer stated that the elevator was again making noise but was otherwise working and wanted someone back that day. Customer was told that the noise was not of a critical nature and we would be back for him the week of 6/15/15. He stated he would not be available and demanded someone be there immediately.Customer would not allow condo management to assist us in gaining access to the elevatorIf this was of such urgent nature, why would he not provide access? I would suggest it was because the elevator was in full service and there was not an emergent situation as customer would have you believe.At no time were we waiting for this elevators’ warranty to expireMr*** did not purchase his elevator through Wallace & Sons but as part of his condo.
