I took my wedding dress to be cleaned, when I picked it up and got it home it smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. I took my wedding dress to cleaners and when I got it home and took out of garment bag, it smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. Nobody in my family smoke. We called up to store, and owner said his wife and father smoke, but outside. I know that the door is left open or ajar in back so they can hear if anyone one comes in,since wife is the only one in store. Smoke can get in store, also from her clothes. We called him and he refused to clean it again. Desired SettlementI would like my money back for the cleaning. If they re clean it, it is going to smell like smoke still. I want to take it to another cleaners who will it in a smoke free environment. It was cleaned very well, I just am highly allergic to cigarette smoke, which can trigger my asthma.
