Customer called to have an initial clean up, mow, haul off...she was quoted $60+tax on the mow and $85/hr on the clean up/haul off and was told it could be as little on the clean up as $as she stated that there was a initial clean up performed about a month prior.Then customer called
to ask we remove some extra limbs, glass from a removed shed.Customer was billed for the mow and hours of work, totalling $294.98, in which she provided the debit card information on inital call.After receiving the charges, customer emailed to inquire why it was so much and I explained that there was more work than initially told via phone conversation and she stated that she was ok with the price just surprised it was the price it turned out to be After several emails back and forth she asked to speak with the owner of the company and they discussed the work and he agreed that he would just charge the $she stated was quoted and that we would issue a credit for the balance, which was done immediately credited to her card in the amount of $186.73After this took place we had a discussion with the team that went to the home and this is what was explained; the yard looked as if it had not been touched in a very long time, it took approximately minutes to pick up all her trash/glass and limbs, however the mow/weed eat work is what took hours as it was knee deep and the property was very large (it expanded the entire end of a block from one street to the next) So in essence she should have been charged a larger amount on the mow, which would have resulted in a approximately the same dollar amount There were NO FRAUDULENT charges made to her debit card nor did we use it as a blank check, there was just miscommunication as to information we were given and she understood the charges to be
