I am leaving this for Paul and his team, They did a wonderful great job in our home. We used my VA loan to get our first home & within the first week it flooded. Now on a 180K home no one is going to buy it knowing it floods! So my first thought is you have to get water out of the basement that was just finished by the previous homeowner(new carpet & drywall). So we spend about a thousand dollars renting industrial sized equipment to help clean up. Then I go to cut the first bit of drywall as to stop the moisture from spread and spreading black mold. And that is when I opened pandoras box, we had black mold and asbestos that was intentionally covered up by the previous homeowner and obviously with a child was not something I wanted to entertain. So I, my wife, my mom, my parents in law all worked and realized we need help! So we looked around called around and found AirXperts. Look I can't say enough about Paul and his crew. Everything they did was not just to make a $$$ but to help and educate. I loved talking to Paul and learning stuff from him. They removed all the black mold treated THE ENTIRE HOUSE. Paul and his team were sympathetic to what happened to us. It took them 2 weeks as they more they cleaned the more stuff and issues they found, I mean for God sake the old homeowner covered up large big holes in the foundation(multiple) after the ceiling came down they found one of the vents was not even connected to the vent for living room. Among so so much more. Every time my wife and I had to go down in the basement we had to wear respirators, Im not fking kidding its BS that your home your castle becomes a danger a dungeon, it messed me and my family up bad. But with AirXperts help we can walk down without one now, my son can go downstairs our nightmare will take a while to become our dream but because of the work Paul and Airxperts did it is SAFE. They talk to you every step of the way take pictures, write things down, take air samples before and after work is completed. Look at the end of the day do you want a company that might get it clean or do you go with a guy that actually wrote the darn book. Seriously! THANK YOU SO MUCH GUYS! Merry Christmas.

On Oct. 29, 2016, Paul M, Owner of Air Experts, LLC, was contacted to look at a potential mold hazard on a property in Canton, Ohio. Realtor, ***, had referred Chester, Mr. M's partner, but Chester gave the job to Paul M. *** met Mr. M at the home to look at a potentially mold hazard that was on the wall in the garage in Canton, Ohio. At Mr. M's urging, he asked the realtor, ***, if he could take a look inside the property, she obliged. Mr. M said, “He found mold in the downstairs basement that was covered by paneling and also the HVAC System, Duct work, et al. Mr. M said, "The Basement and garage needed mold remediation and also the HVAC SYSTEM which included all the duct work.” Mr. M said, "We couldn't move in until this was mitigated or move our belongings in period. Air Experts, LLC, was hired to do the mold remediation in December, 2016.
I, ***, met Mr. M for the first time at the home for mold remediation in December, 2016. The mold remediation was completed right before Christmas Eve. The “OK” was given to move in after the air test. According to Mr. M, “the mold was cleared out of the house.” He said, he tested the air quality both upstairs and downstairs and said, “The test came back clear.” He said a “thorough report would be done including, with pictures, that were taken of the black mold and that his report was forth coming.” We have yet to see pictures of his findings and we have not received any report or test results period!
After the New Year, 2017, we started to move boxes into the property. The smell in the home hit you immediately upon entering the front door. The smell and air took your breath away! After about two weeks my friend and co-owner, began to get sick. Her cheeks became red, her throat hurt, and she ended up in the emergency room February 1, 2017. The smell in the home gagged you, especially when the furnace kicked on, the air quality became even worse and you couldn’t breathe or catch your breath. It was horrible! Also, her mother became sick with a viral infection, affecting her voice after helping her daughter in the home for several weeks. She was sick for three weeks!
In addition, a neighbor also became sick and had to cover her mouth with a cloth because she couldn’t catch her breath and she had to get out of the home immediately. She lost her voice and didn’t get it back until the next day. The smell from the air left an imprint on your clothes, your hair, your possessions, and you just couldn’t catch your breath. My friend and co-owner, has been unable to move into the home because of this problem. She has had it with this and is beyond upset! She is the one who is most affected by this because of her health, finances, her well being, emotionally, and she has been living out of a suitcase for months and she has not been able to move into the home because of the mold issue.
After I moved into the home in February, I too, had gotten extremely sick with an infection because of the air quality in the home. The air had an unusual heaviness in it! It was toxic! This is NO coincidence either. After the remediation of the mold from the duct work was completed, the air quality in the home became WORSE and people had become sick because something was terribly wrong with the air! It smelled like mold in the air! Mr. M failed to tell us, “that there was insulation in the duct work and it was contaminated with black mold spores, dust, and filth!” How does Mr. M give the “OK” to move into the home when in fact the remediation was not done right the first time and how does he claim everything was mitigated properly?
On January 12, 2017, it rained 12-15 inches of rain that day. The basement walls and floors became wet and the insurance agent from Motorist Mutual was contacted to access the damage. At the same time, Mr. M was contacted about the toxic smell in the air and that people had become sick. Mr. M came out a week before he sent James L, Field Supervisor, back to investigate. On Jan. 20, 2017, Mr. L and another guy were sent out to remediate the Duct Work in the furnace and to ensure the “evaporator coil” was cleaned again and to make sure there was no mold on it. Mr. M sent a text to my friend and owner, on Friday, January 20, 2017, with the findings of his technicians. My friend and co-trustee, came out to the home and James greeted her and showed her the problem.
Mr. L, opened the duct work and showed her the “insulation and mold that was in the duct work.” Mr. M was hired to remediate the basement and HVAC / duct work, and the home in December, 2016 per his recommendation. Mr. L admitted, he knew the insulation was in the duct work, in December, 2016, but he didn’t know what to do with it except spray it down. The duct work was compromised with mold spores, dust, and filth, thus, flowing throughout the home, because of the problem with the contaminated insulation in the air ducts that had been overlooked and sprayed down by Air Experts, LLC. However, the buck stops with Mr. M and his company. Mr. M should have overseen this job more closely.
On Friday, January 20, 2017, James L, said, “Mr. M recommended spraying the insulation again and leaving the insulation in the duct work.” My friend said, “Absolutely not!” This is unacceptable period. Leaving the insulation in there to begin with and spraying it down, not telling us that they did this in December, 2016 is morally and ethically bankrupt. It’s downright criminal! People had become sick because of this and that is wrong and deceitful. When the furnace kicked on, the air quality was severely compromised because of the contaminated insulation that had been sprayed down permeated the air ducts and you literally couldn’t catch your breath. Everything in the home has been compromised because of this!
Mr. M said he was going to tes

The business did mitigate the residence in 2016. At the time that the business met with the consumer and provided the initial test results, the consumer pointed out that there was an odor. The business sent out their technician who saw that the home had insulation in the ductwork. That is unusual for a residential property. Typically, homes are not insulated that way. The consumer asked the business to address the matter, but the business is not permitted to make changes to ductwork. The business did vacuum the ductwork and sprayed it to help remove the odor. The business suggested they contact an HVAC company about the ductwork and referred the consumer to Temple Heating and Cooling. Temple Heating and Cooling did extensive work on the consumer's ductwork.

The consumer is now claiming the home is recontaminated. The business questions how the consumer came to that conclusion. Was the home retested? If so, by whom? The business was not contacted after the HVAC company became involved in the situation.

The consumer is requesting a $3,000 refund; however, the consumer never paid the balance of their account.

Paul McHam is definitely an expert in air quality. He removed mold from my daughter's home. He did an extremely thorough job including checking for spore counts throughout the home after the basement work was done. His price was more than another quote she received but they were going to do the job in 2 days and Paul's crew worked on it for 5; doing a lot more. When it comes to mold, it is worth paying for an excellent job. My daughter now lives in the home which is mold free and she enjoys peace-of-mind and healthy air. Thank you Paul!
