Review: [redacted] Precast installed 6 bulkiheads for my construction company in the last 12 months. Five of the six bulkheads are leaking water around the seams into the basement. I have made multiple requests to this company asking them to repair the installation. [redacted] has ignored all requests to resolve the problem.

Response:
In answer to [redacted]’s complaint, we installed the first two (2) SL bulkheads on April 18, 2012. We installed these the same way we have for the past twenty (20) years. My installer noticed that they did not fit flush and square to the foundation. We removed them and re-installed the bottom (concrete part of bulkhead) with bottoms I purchased from [redacted], but the same problem existed, the foundations were not square or plumb. [redacted], the installer, also noticed that on all of the six (6) installations there were no exterior permiter drains, obviously [redacted] are building in areas with water issues. We offered to try to seal leaks with water plugs, hydraulic cement or we could call [redacted] to seal bulkheads at this expense. He did not want us to do any of these remedies, but did complain to you. We would like to resolve this problem, as we like to keep repeat customers. I believe Mr [redacted] has a problem with storm water from the roof downspouts or ground water

Response:
I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted].
These are the fact:
The installer directed me to contact [redacted] to resolve the leaking bulkheads.
[redacted] has ignored my numerous phone calls and my letter.
The installer also suggested that I try to seal the cracks myself with hydraulic cement. This is not my job to correct his poor installation job.
My foundation is perfectly square. The first set of bulkheads installed by [redacted] Company were not square and were replaced by the installer. They still leak.
Since [redacted] has ignored my requests to fix this problem I have contracted with [redacted] at a cost of $875 per bulkheads to seal the units properly.
I will be sending [redacted] the invoice for this repair. If he ignores me like my previous requests I will be filing suit against him.
I will also contact the Massachusetts Attorney Generals Office and the local consumer reporter at WCVB to let the public know of this company's poor workmanship and policy of zero customer service.
