Paul Davis Restoration-Des Plaines

In June of 2019 I signed a contract with Paul Davis to have tile flooring installed throughout my entire 1000 sq ft condo. I paid him the first deposit in June when the contract was signed and the second deposit once the tiles were installed. I brought up a lot of issues with the installation and Alex assured me that the problems addressed would be fixed. After getting the run around with the tile installer I told Alex that the job would not pass inspection. The lippage was in every room and in almost every tile. The grout lines were not even. The whole job was a mess. Alex then hired a tile inspector that confirmed the job was done poorly and did not pass the inspection. Alex did not want to fulfill the contract and fix the job because he would have to rip out all the tiles and lay new ones. He agreed to reimburse my 1st and 2nd deposit along with monies to get the tiles removed prior to a new install. I was the one to request funds to get the tiles removed since he was not willing to fulfill the contract. This was agreed upon in Sept of 2019. We are now in Jan 2020 and I have yet to receive my reimbursement nor will he tell me when I will receive it. It's one excuse after another.
