BUYER BEWARE! Bought a used Silverado from these guys and it is hands down the worst purchase I have ever madeI would have been better off buying a truck from Craigslist instead of from this established businessTo start off they conveniently left out the two pages of the Carfax that contained the information in relation to the damage it hadWhich came up during the signing of the contract, I questioned if there was any more information since I was only shown the first and 4th page, I was told it was probably just a scratch nothing major which, stupid me, I believedAnyhow, I went back and showed them the whole Carfax which the GM and sales manager tried to dismiss by saying it's a separate company and blah, blah, blahFunny and thankfully Sun Community was able to show me the whole CarfaxAfter some discussion about returning the truck and tearing up the contract or getting a getting an extended warranty "at cost" I stupidly chose the latterI say stupidly because a week later I was walking up to the truck and noticed the rear door was a different color I drove it straight to the car lot so they can take a look the salesperson agreed the paint didn't match but since it was a Saturday nothing could be done until MondayI was able to take it back on Tuesday, after some harassing, and showed it to the sales manager who also agreed that the paint didn't matchHe said I'll talk to the GM and get back to youA week later I called back to see what was going on and was told the service manager would contact me, he never did***s Auto body located at *** ** *** ***in El Centro called and scheduled me in so they can have a look at itAfter all this my truck was painted to match the two driver's side doors but not the cab which is not *** fault since they were given a tight budget that wouldn't cover half of the cost of the two other estimates I got just to match the paintI ended up filing a complaint with GM and the Revdex.com is nextGM said there wasn't anything that they can doI know my rights are limited because I bought it as isBut at some point a business should do what's right not partially rightThere's only one thief in this world, everybody else is just trying to get their stuff back which is probably what happened to Desert Auto Plaza when they took this truck in as a trade so they got their money back with this suckerI have documents, text messages and fresh paint to prove that all of this information is true
My experience with the new Employees, especially from Finance Department Manager Loraine was just unacceptable
My wife and I had gone to Desert Auto Plaza Honda to finance our Lease for purchase We signed a contract with an acceptable APR because according to her we were accepted by the bank they ran our credit with Our Credit Score was not the greatest it was but we were happy with the agreement, the monthly installments, this included our gap insurance, years extended warranty on all electrical/mechanical parts Then about almost days later we receive a phone call tell me that my wife and I need to walk in and resign a new contract because the system made a mistake with our socials That was something that I thought to myself a machine cannot make an error its most likely the person that inputs any information into the system that makes the mistake The Finance Manager now tell us that we will have 1% more of our original something % because of the systems mistake and that the bank did not accept their deal Another week passed and they kept calling us to harrass us telling us that we needed to go sign the paper work When my wife called the Finance Manager my wife had questions regarding the reasons why this was all happening and the Finance Manager got upset tell her she was stubborn to no go and sign the paperwork and that our credit was the worst she had seen and that she was doing us a favor to get this something % rate for us She ran our credit many times when we only authorized in my case times and my wife time She ran our credit way more than the above mentioned times for my wife which never signed a new permission for this to happen Days later we get a letter stating that we need to return the car if we don't go and sign paperwork indicating that we were cancelling the contract they cancelled first because bank did not accept their terms This is my fault how? So I kept getting calls from the Finance Manager & her supervisor to go and sign paper work Today I received letters stating that they cancelled our Purchase Contract Agreement I called Honda Financial Services Directly and asked if Desert Auto Plaza Honda had bought out the car they said NO I explained to Honda Financial Services all the above mentioned, and they responded that Desert Auto Plaza Honda had not right to take our car away being that our car is not financed by them in the dealer Our car is financed directly with Honda Financial Services This made me wonder even more if they are trying to scam me to not lose on their end I feel very upset, frustrated and very disappointed with the treatment we had in this specific Honda in El Centro, CA I will not be going back ever to this dealership They disrespected my wife, me, and made us feel as if we were going to lose it all I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE LOCAL HONDA/
